On 25 March 2022, Veena will deliver a keynote address on "The business of waste" to a forum hosted by the University of New England (UNE) and its Smart Region Incubator (SRI).
Veena will talk about the new national Sustainable Communities and Waste Hub she is Leader of, and its role in creating a circular economy and the need to align waste and manufacturing in order to ensure greater recycling of waste materials.
